Indirect taxes are 13.6% of GDP in the EU (28MS). Sweden, Croatia and Hungary are countries where indirect tax comprises the highest percentage of the GDP. The lowest % can be found in Ireland, Romania and Germany.
For VAT only, VAT are 7.1% of GDP in EU (28MS). Croatia, Cyprus and Denmark are countries where VAT comprises the highest percentage of the GDP. The lowest % can be found in Ireland, Italy and Luxembourg.
