There were quite of lot of EU and national VAT cases in 2019. The Dutch website ‘BTW jurisprudentie’ made an overview of the top 10 of the most viewed cases.
Number 1 is ECJ case C-165/17 (Morgan Stanley & Co International, on the VAT pro-rate for a foreign branch), although we also liked some of the other cases a lot, such as the Geelen case (on the place of erotic webcam services) and Konsulterna (on the place of supply of educational events).
The whole list can be viewed here: BTW jurisprudentie (in Dutch)
