India’s Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC) issued several circulars on 11 October 2019 that clarify various aspects of the application of goods and services tax (GST) and a notification on 9 October 2019 restricting the availability of an input tax credit (ITC) on unreported invoices/debit notes.
