The National Bureau for Revenue (NBR) has announced that the VAT registration process is now open for entities generating or expected to generate BD 18,750-BD 500,000 in annual VATable supplies. This is the final tranche of taxpayer registrations under the staggered implementation, with VAT registration for these taxpayers taking effect from 1 January 2020.
