Following the implementation of VAT in Bahrain on 1 January 2019, the National Bureau for Revenue (NBR) has released a VAT Return Filing Manuel on its website. The manual provides step-by-step guidance on how to complete the VAT return and includes a number of examples to help VAT payers better understand their VAT return filing obligations. The next VAT return is due for submission by 30 July 2019 and the manual should provide useful guidance for businesses in preparing the return.
