Failure to comply with the obligation to have the new cash registers will be sanctioned directly with fines of up to 10,000 lei
The Ministry of Finance has prepared a project to remove from the scope of the Prevention Act the obligation of the companies to have the new electronic cash register houses, according to a draft Government decision obtained by Profit.ro. Currently, non-compliance is under the Prevention Act, so that Anti-Fraud inspectors, when they take control of a company that does not comply with the legal obligation to have the new cash register, does not directly apply the fine, but first compliance deadline. Later, when I return, if the company still can not prove the purchase of the cash register, it is sanctioned. But if he shows that he has complied with this time, he’s out of sanction. After the change now prepared by Finance, the Law on Prevention will no longer be applied in this case, so that the wrong companies will be directly sanctioned.
