In the proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2019-20, the government has imposed a 7.5% VAT on virtual business. State Minister for Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak has however urged the National Board of Revenue to withdraw 7.5% VAT from e-commerce businesses.
