Financial services businesses and organizations in other
sectors that do not qualify for exemption as public interest activities
will need to stop applying the the VAT cost sharing exemption by 31 May 2018.
HMRC will no longer accept cross-border cost sharing
groups, and groups will need to be able to evidence ‘exact
reimbursement of costs’.
