The consultation aims at obtaining the views of all stakeholders on the VAT treatment of electronically supplied publications (e-publications). Under current rules, e-publications must be taxed at the standard VAT rate, whereas for printed publications Member States are allowed to apply lower VAT rates.
The consultation period starts on 25 July 2016 and ends on 19 September 2016.
