The Maltese Government has approved reduced VAT rate on e-books | Meridian.
The Maltese Government has recently approved a reduced VAT rate for e-books. Previously e-books were at the standard rate of 18%, however from 1 January 2015 the reduced rate of 5% will be introduced, which harmonises it to the same 5% reduced VAT rate Malta has on printed books
