Spain is thinking of introducing real-time VAT reporting for certain taxpayers. This would mean that data related to invoices issued and received need to be communicated to the tax authorities within a 4 day timeframe from the moment the invoices were issued or received. This system is referred to as ‘Immediate Supply of Information’.
