Switzerland to launch pilot project on filing VAT returns electronically | Meridian.
From 2015, the VAT Authorities in Switzerland will run a pilot project to electronically file VAT returns. Starting from Q04 of 2014 every taxpayer in the districts of Basel, Solothurn, Thurgau and Uri have the possibility of filing VAT returns electronically. During this pilot project the taxpayer will still have the opportunity to file their VAT returns through regular mail.
