Czech EET 2.0 Set for January 2027 Launch

  • EET 2.0, the revived electronic sales recording system, has passed the legislative process largely unchanged and is expected to launch in January 2027.
  • It is designed to be simpler than the original EET, with less data to record and a narrower scope, including some exceptions for low-income sole traders.
  • The system will cover cash and “contact payments” made in person, while most other non-cash payments (like payment gateways or QR codes) will be excluded.
  • Businesses can use various devices as long as they can send sales data online; a developer test environment (“Playground”) is expected in July 2026.
  • Key rollout dates: DIS+ functions from 1 November 2026, MOJE EET for small businesses from 1 December 2026, launch on 1 January 2027, and full operation from 1 February 2027.
