- Slovakia’s Financial Administration will automatically assign Tax Identification Numbers (TINs) to approximately 58,000 non-governmental entities to prepare them for the 2027 e-invoicing mandate.
- This automatic registration process, using data from existing registers, will primarily benefit civic associations, foundations, and non-profit organizations, removing the need for them to apply for a TIN themselves.
- The assigned TINs will be crucial for identifying recipients in the electronic invoicing system (Peppol network) from 2027, but their assignment does not automatically create an obligation to file a tax return.
