- B2B e-invoicing mandate underway: From 2 February 2026, Greek businesses with annual revenues over EUR 1 million (2023 tax year) must issue electronic invoices for B2B sales of goods and services.
- Transition period until April 2026: Legacy systems can run in parallel until 31 March 2026; from 1 April 2026, fully electronic invoicing becomes mandatory for in-scope businesses.
-
Full rollout by October 2026: The mandate extends to all remaining businesses from 1 October 2026, supported by tax incentives such as enhanced depreciation and higher deductibility for e-invoicing costs.
