In an effort to provide “much needed transparency for local sales tax revenues” as it relates to certain sales tax rebate agreements made between various California localities and retailers, new law requires California cities and counties to annually provide specified information to the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) and on their respective websites relating to such agreements.
