Between May 8-12, 2023, a delegation consisting of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance Olga Golban, the director of the State Fiscal Service (SFS) Petru Rotaru and other officials of the SFS, made a study visit to the Customs and Monopolies Agency in Italian Republic on “VAT: Refund mechanisms and risks of non-compliance”.The purpose of the visit was to take good experiences regarding the replication of VAT refund/ceiling practices from EU member states (for regular exporters) and measures to prevent VAT fraud in the Republic of Moldova.
