The U.S. Congressional Research Services (CRS) has published an updated “In Focus” report dated 3 January 2022 on Section 301 Tariff Exclusions on U.S. Imports from China. The report provides background information on the Section 301 Tariff for imports from China, as well as information on the Section 301 Tariff exclusion process, exclusions for COVID-19 and medical-care products, the reinstatement of previous tariff exclusions, and issues for Congress.
