Germany has a couple of days ago formally asked European Commission for a derogation to introduce mandatory e-invoicing. Request is in-line with requirements per draft Directive (ViDA) based on the EN-16931 e-invoicing standard.
However, no confirmation on dates as no agreement in German Government to introduce mandatory e-invoicing yet – just the ability to do so in the future.
