The Swedish Government has announced the Budget for 2023. Indirect Tax measures include
- Extension of temporary reductions in energy (excise) tax on petrol (gasoline) and diesel used in professional agricultural, forestry, and aquaculture activities to 31 December 2023; and
- Increase in the VAT rate from 6% to 12% on repairs to bicycles, shoes, leather goods, clothing, and household linen from 1 April 2023.
