El Salvador’s Ministry of Finance has issued a notice on the applicable interest rates for late tax payments during the period 1 August 2022 and 31 January 2023, which are unchanged compared to the prior period. This includes an annual interest rate of 6.43%, which is increased to 10.43% after 60 days following the expiration of the due date for the tax obligation.
