It is to update you about an important Supreme Court (‘SC’) decision dated September 21, 2022, in the case of Tata Motors Limited v. CSTAA, TS-409-SC-2022-VAT. The Court was dealing with the question as to the transfer of tax wrongly collected by a State to another State.
