Congo Republic releases orders to exclude certain goods from VAT

The Congolese Direction Générale des Impots published Order Nos. CAB/MIN/FINANCES/2022/013 and CAB/MIN/FINANCES/2022/014 which exclude certain goods from VAT. 

 Below, products exempt from VAT include: 

• cement or its raw materials up to April 15, 2023. 
• development of structures no older than three years, till April 15, 2023. 
• specified foodstuffs until October 15, 2022.
