It has been practiced for 28 years to add tax on goods and services to the notary’s fee. In the opinion of the Human Rights Defender, this raises doubts as to compliance with the law and possible violation of citizens’ rights. The more that, in the opinion of the Ministry of Finance, this should not be the case. Marcin Wiącek wrote to the Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro on this matter.
