In February, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) published the GST administration annual performance report 2020-2021. The report addresses specific areas of ATO’s GST compliance activity and should be noted by New Zealand taxpayers, particularly as ATO contributes to the development of the GST toolkit for many Asia Pacific countries.
