The law on the reduction of VAT on food, energy and fuels has already been signed by the president

On Jan 26, 2022, the Sejm rejected the Senate’s amendments to the amendment to the VAT act, and on the same day President Andrzej Duda signed the act.

• From February 1, 2022, till July 31, 2022
• VAT on fuel will drop from 23 percent. to 8%, for food it will be reduced to 0%, for fertilizers to 0%, and for electricity and heat to 5%.
