- The GST exemption for supplies of machinery used in certain activities is revised to provide that the exemption applies for plant, equipment, machinery, apparatus, and appliances designed for use exclusively in (a) agriculture, veterinary, fishing, and horticulture; (b) manufacturing; and (c) mining;
- Additional GST exemptions are provided for the following supplies when provided for or on behalf of the government:
- materials for the conduct of national elections;
- arms, ammunition, and specialized security vehicles, and security equipment; and
- medals and Medallions for awards by the President and for the use of the Ministries of Defence and Internal Affairs
