Based on a consultation with representatives of the economy (importers, declarants, software providers) regarding the readiness to introduce a new Slovenian automated import system (SIAIS2), a decision was made to postpone the start of use of SIAIS2 to 1 October 2021.
From 1 June 2021, the new system will be available to the economy for sending test data. We invite declarants and importers to carry out appropriate testing of the filing of customs declarations in the SIAIS2 test environment in the period from 1 June 2021 to 30 September 2021, in order to use the test period to adjust their customs operations accordingly. Access to the SIAIS2 test environment will be provided through your chosen software provider.
