On 13 August 2020, Portugal’s Secretary of State of Tax Affairs published Order no. 195, which addresses the requirements for the creation of the two-dimensional bar code (QR code) and the unique document code (ATCUD) that must appear on invoices and other tax documents issued as from 1 January 2021.
