Coronavirus: Walz to defer sales tax bills for Minnesota restaurants

Just two days after ordering Minnesota restaurants to close their dining rooms, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz announced he would defer sales tax bills for restaurants until April 20.

Restaurants will pay no penalty for making payments a month late.
