Article 58 of the Saudi tax by-laws requires taxpayers to file a contract information form (CIF) with GAZT for all contracts that exceed SAR100,000 within three months of signing the contract. While there are no direct penalties for non-compliance, taxpayers may be held liable for any unpaid taxes not settled by the supplier of the services. The General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) has introduced a new online contract disclosure service which taxpayers can use to file up to 500 service contracts.
